Recovering work-a-holic looking for adventure and that special guy to devote my attention to. I have a very demanding job and I am seeking some balance in my life. I have been happily single for many years, but I think it is time to settle down and enjoy life with a special person.

I am a happy, easy going, spontanious gal. Love animals, especially my dogs, and don't have alot of emotional baggage. I can be opinionated, but I don't push my views on others. Not an anarchist, feminist, or communist. No felonies, but I admit to a few moving violations. I'm not a big outdoors person, but I do love being at the lake.

I have no problem making my own decisions and can entertain myself, don't need or want much direction.

It's funny how at this age it is easier to tell what you don't like, so here is my short list: If you are a heavy drinker, good luck with that, but I will have to pass. Jealous or domineering, ditto. I am loyal and trust people, expect the same. I just don't have the time or energy for such foolishness.

I like movies, most kinds: Action, thrillers, comedies, and of course 'chick flicks'..not big on Sci-fi. My favorite all time: The Jerk and The Lion in the Winter (the original).

I do have a adventuresome spirit, not insulted by a nasty joke, and although politically conversative, socially liberal.
