Instead of working directly with pigments, Marc Rembold virtually defines space with the assistance of electronic colours. By doing so, colour is dispersed, shaped and finally – using an analog technique – placed on a surface (sublimated). Like liquid bodies of light, sharp and diffused elements flow into one another creating one-of-a-kind configurations. Not only are the transformational processes and physics of the colours affected but said colours are separated into their respective frequencies. In order to compensate for the loss of light of the backlit colours, Rembold shrinkwraps the surfaces in plexiglass. The resulting spectrum is vibrant, fantastical and powerful.

Anstelle direkt mit Pigmenten zu arbeiten, wird mit Hilfe von Elektronik Farbe virtuell definiert. Dabei wird Farbe zerlegt, modelliert und endlich, in analoger Technik auf einen Träger gebracht (sublimiert). Wie flüssige Lichtkörper treffen scharfe und unscharfe Teile der verschiedenen Farbübergänge räumlich aufeinander. Dabei wurden nicht nur Umwandlungsprozesse und Physik der Farbe berührt, sondern Farben in Ihrer Farbfrequenz zerlegt. Um den Lichtverlust hinterleuchteter Farben zu kompensieren. Durch das zusätzliche Behandeln der Oberflächen und einschweissen in Plexiglas entstehen phantastische, plastisch starke Farben.
