Guerra de la Paz

    GUERRA DE LA PAZ

div

Guerra de la Paz is the composite name that represents the creative team efforts of Cuban born artists, Alain Guerra (born in 1968 in Havana, Cuba) & Neraldo de la Paz (born in 1955 in Mantanzas, Cuba) who are currently living in Miami, Florida. Both began working as a collective in 1996 when they decided to share a studio in Miami's Little Haiti. Since then it has evolved into an ongoing collaboration that has grown by way of experimentation and constant dialogue, combining two conservative personalities into one single element with a visual language that conveys a universal message; A cross-cultural humanist look at dichotomies and parallels, mixing classicism with the general consensus of the day and iconic imagery with a complexity of identities.
