Fascinated
by the interplay between space and objects, Helge
Mundt creates works characterized by his exacting
gaze. His particular perspective led to the first
commissions from the art world in 1981. Starting
in 1984, commissions came from ad agencies and magazines
who valued the clarity and spatial, atmospheric
qualities of his photos, as well as Mundt's skill
at and technical knowledge of his
craft.
Since
1966 Mundt has also been pursuing his own, non-commissioned
projects. Because he was fascinated by the construction
currently taking place in Berlin as well
as its buildings placed under historical preservation
he carried out the project entitled Architectural
Elements.
